About Mia

Hi! My name is Mia and I am currently a junior Early Childhood Education major at the University of Rhode Island. I live at home during the summers. I have 5+ years of lifeguarding experience at Springlake in Timonium as well as 3 years of experience being the person in charge at the pool. I have gained a lot of experience working with children throughout my years working at the pool as well as created close relationships with many families. have also been student teaching since the fall semester of my sophomore year, and Fall 2023 I worked in a preschool classroom with 12 children (mainly 3-year-olds), Spring 2024 in kindergarten, Fall 2024 with preschool aged kids 3-5, and now this semester I am in kindergarten again, as well as working part time in an infant classroom! I was an intern at Pot Spring Elementary throughout the course of my senior year of high school in a second grade classroom. Last summer, I was a nanny. I appreciate your consideration!
