About Mia

My passion for nurturing young minds led me to pursue a career in childcare. With six years of experience, I've honed my skills in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children from new borns to pre-teens. I'm currently studying elementary education and volunteering at FSU's childhood and early learning center, which further enriches my knowledge of child development. My friendly and approachable nature helps me connect easily with children, and I prioritize open communication with parents, using their preferred method, to address any concerns. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and enjoy playing arts and crafts, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. As a certified CPR and Early Childhood Education professional, I'm well-equipped to handle any situation. I'm happy to assist with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, and supervising swimming activities.
