My approach to tutoring is to provide a patient, positive, and encouraging experience where students are motivated to learn through understanding rather than pressure to perform. I have two years of experience as a tutor for math and science, but I am also comfortable working on ACT/SAT prep, college application mentoring, and writing. Outside of academics, I play the viola and was a competitive swimmer in New York for 13 years growing up. I am also a nationally certified Emergency Medical Technician and love to volunteer with New Orleans EMS!
