I was a STEM teacher, and have 9 years experience working in childcare in church, home and daycare settings for children aged newborn-school age and have worked with children with speech delays, autism, and ADD/ADHD. I would love to combine childcare with tutoring if requested! I am willing to provide transportation within reason if requested as well. I am a great cook and do not mind cooking for children (without need for instruction), even those with allergies or dietary preferences. I love art and music, and would love to incorporate these activities for children upon request. I am familiar with various parenting styles, such as Montessori, baby-led weaning, sleep-training, and more. Feel free to ask questions! Merissa took great care of our 2-year-old son while we were in Lexington for the birth of our daughter. Merissa was on time and on top of everything so we didn't have to worry while we were at the hospital. I could tell on the second day that our son had bonded with her. Highly recommend!
