About Merilynn

I'm a retired professional looking to supplement my income and follow my passion. I am passionate about the care and education of children. If I'd followed my passion I would have been a teacher, but I spent many years as a paralegal. Now I can care for children part time and I feel lucky to be able to pursue that. I'm known for my calm and patient demeanor, and I love bringing creativity and imagination to playtime. Whether it's playing board games, solving puzzles, or exploring educational apps, I strive to make learning fun and engaging. I value open communication with parents and am comfortable enforcing household rules. I follow the preferred communication method of each family to ensure any issues or concerns are addressed promptly. In addition to my experience and education, I have completed First Aid and CPR training, as well as coursework in early child development. I'm also willing to lend a hand with cooking, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
