About Meredith

I think kids hold so many secrets to life. I think it's magical to witness the world through the eyes of a little person. I believe children feel loved when they are given age-appropriate autonomy and purpose paired with proper empowerment and connective nurturing. I have my masters in education and have spent the last 9 years working in a school setting. I taught Kindergarten for several years and have also taught: 1st grade, 2nd grade, and elementary art. I have also worked as an elementary principal training teachers and staff. I have experience nannying for families with infants and toddlers. I believe in: the power of play, gentle parenting, trust-based relationship building, exposing kids to engaging activities that spark curiosity, saying yes as much as possible, setting clear boundaries, my words meaning what they say, having fun. When I'm not working I love spending time with my wife especially eating breakfast out on the weekends and attending current soccer games.
