About Meredith

Hi! My name is Meredith and I am a Child Life Specialist at Nemours Children's Health, providing developmentally informed play and educational interventions for children. I have a passion for working with children and if I can bring a smile to a child's face that is the greatest joy for me! I recently completed my graduate degree at Vanderbilt in the Child Studies Program and acquired certification as an infant massage instructor. While at Vanderbilt I worked at an inclusive preschool, as an academic tutor for elementary/middle school students, and as a part-time nanny for a 17-month-old. Previously, I have babysat a family of four children for almost 10 years. I have also worked as a tutor for 5th-grade students for one full virtual academic year. I am responsible and my greatest concern while watching over children is first that they are safe, but also that they are uplifted, encouraged and validated, experiencing joy and creativity through play, crafts, or any activity we do.
