About Meredith

With three years of experience in professional childcare, I strive to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for each child in my care. I have extensive experience working with many different types of kids through camp counseling positions and babysitting experiences. I believe in open communication with parents and regularly provide updates on their child's day, either verbally at pickup or through text or phone calls, whichever method they prefer. Regarding household rules, I follow the parents' lead, ensuring consistency and a sense of familiarity for the child. Above all I believe a combination of patience and friendliness is the key to creating a good relationship with a child. My favorite activities are games, arts and crafts, or sports as I think these are all great activities for fostering development and trust.
