About Merci

Being the first niece and grandchild to my immediate family, I have always taken on the task of watching my younger cousins. I absolutely love caring for children and if I do say so myself all children love me! During covid I had the opportunity to be a full time sitter for two young boys for a little over a year. Although it was challenging in the beginning, I built an unforgettable relationship with those boys. I'd describe my personality as nurturing, responsible, and lovable. I enjoy how simple children are in a sense that they really just want someone to listen to them and spend time with them. In my spare time, I love to go to the library and drive to different parks. I also love finding new places in the city to eat. I have had a lot of practice with calming children down and working through conflicts, but it is always a great help when the parents hold their children responsible so we can work as a team! I'm skilled in empathy, problem solving, and organizational skills!
