About Mercedes

I'm an experienced childcare provider with a passion for nurturing children's growth and development. My 20 years of experience, starting with babysitting, have taught me how to best care for children. I'm patient, calm, imaginative, friendly, and approachable, and I communicate with parents regularly about their child's day and any issues that arise. My educational background includes a graduate degree in counseling and I'm certified in both First Aid and CPR. I have experience working as a psychiatric clinician for the past 5 yrs. I speak and write Spanish as well. I enjoy playing all types of games with children, from outdoor sports to board games and educational games. I'm comfortable caring for one or 2 children at a time and I'm eager to meet your family and learn more about your childcare needs.
