About Mercedes

Hello! My name is Mercedes. I am a first grade teacher and one of my greatest passions is working with children! I am free for after school babysitting jobs, weekends, or weekday date nights! I graduated in 2021 with my Bachelor's in Education and Spanish from the University of Richmond. Since then, I've become Henrico County's New Teacher of the Year teaching 3rd and will be teaching in Fairfax this upcoming year. For the past few summers, I have worked full-time as a nanny and absolutely loved it! I have a decade of babysitting experience with children from infancy to eighth grade and teaching experience in kindergarten, first, and third grade and before that as an aide in all levels. I am fluent in Spanish and have my own car with a clean driving record. I am an animal lover as well. I am responsible, organized, and caring.
