About Menorah

Hello! Thanks for the opportunity to be considered. I'd describe my personality as compassionate, patient with a healthy dose of humor. I have learned that communication is key for all interactions and empathy is vital to great care. I started caring for seniors when I was hired on to help a family care for their loved one who was brought home for hospice in January of 2014. I remained with them until his passing in 2018 as a full-time carer. I then spent the next 6 years as a live-in to a wonderful lady. I was with her until her passing this past June. Majority of my experience has been with elderly dealing with dementia and generalized anxiety. My skills include assisting with safe transfers, bathing, toileting, personal care dressing, meal preparation and medication management.
