From what I've researched, care. com is a great company that allows parents to find trusted individuals to care for their children. I would to be able to help make pa Last year, a friend of mine was struggling with some mental health issues and was ill-fit to take care of her 2-year-old. To give her some space and time to re-center herself, me and her younger sister took care of the child for about three months. The responsibilities included meals and snacks, bathing, changing, play time, ASL learning, reading, and napping. The mother spoke ASL and requested that we continue lessons with the child. When my younger cousin was born, I helped with him as well. The duties with him were basically the same as written above. Most of my time spent includes physically intensive activities such as hiking, rock climbing, or camping. I really enjoy outdoors. However, if the weather is not appropriate then I spend my time reading or writing and watching movies. :)
