About Melyssa

Hello, I'm Melyssa! I have been a childcare provider for over a decade. I have had the privilege to nurture and educate so many special children. I worked as a preschool teacher for years, before transitioning to being a full time nanny. My passion for fostering child growth and development stems from growing up in a huge family, where I had many small cousins to love! From then on, I realized my passion was to work with children. As a patient, calm, creative, and friendly individual, I believe in fostering a safe and nurturing environment where children can thrive. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules while also encouraging independence and self-expression. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor exploration, and educational games that promote learning. I hold a college degree and have completed CPR training and First Aid certification. I have experience caring for newborns to school age children. I would love to chat!
