About Melody

Hi, my name is Melody and I am interested in being a caregiver for your loved one. I have been working as a private caregiver for four years and worked for an agency two years prior to that. I started as a caregiver for my terminally ill mother, and maternal grandmother recovering from heart surgery. I love being a caregiver because it gives me a daily opportunity to help someone maintain their independence while sprinkling some joy into their day. I've worked with a large range of clients- terminally ill, dementia, elderly and disabled. I'm super positive, I love to converse and laugh, but also quiet as need be. I am reliable, kind, patient, gently persuasive, a great conversationalist, someone who takes initiative and is compassionate. I am vaccinated, a non-smoker, a certified yoga teacher, I have a clean background and reliable transportation. I attended culinary school and am a great cook. I love animals. I have excellent references and would be happy to share them with you.
