About Melody

I thoroughly enjoying making an impact on the lives of children and young people through building relationships based on trust, engaging in meaningful activities, and offering extra support when needed. I am currently in my third year at UWEC studying Music Education with the hopes of continuing my work with children. Some previous relevant positions I have held include Swim Instructor, Co-Teacher (3-5 grade), and Childcare Provider. Alongside this, I am the oldest of six siblings and have spent much of my life caring for them as well. I am looking to work with a family that values open communication, mutual respect, and a growth mindset, as these are the values I seek to exemplify both at home in the work place. Alongside this, I often enjoy incorporating music, arts and crafts, outside time, and educational activities into my time with the children I work with.
