About Melody

During high school I worked for a breeder caring for her mama dogs before, during, and after labor along with the puppies. They were silver, charcoal and chocolate labs. Some of her dogs required more attention than others. One in particular had to be monitored 24/7 for the first week after she'd had her puppies and nursing was supervised because she could get too aggressive with them. I took the night shifts for that week and would make sure the puppies were fed every few hours and the mama dog got to go outside regularly. I also would help with the potty training and socialization of the puppies once they got older. I also grew up on a farm where we had dogs of our own and cats as well. I love working with all animals and have a natural way with them.
