A little about me, I grew up as the oldest of seven children; I have always enjoyed taking care of others. Where my experience differs from other caregivers is 15+ years of experience helping those with physical and mental disabilities. I grew up helping my single-parent mom take care of my younger brother who has mental and physical disabilities. Even after I left home for some college at U of O, I have found myself coming back to childcare where I have had fulfilling jobs working with parents in the Eugene/Springfield area. For the last two years, I have watched three toddlers who have shown me an appreciation for the little things in life. I have experience watching children from newborn to pre-teen, toddlers have been a fun change of pace recently. Thank you for seeing if I would be a good fit for your family. -Mellenna

Mellenna is excellent and I am so lucky to have her help. She is very kind, smart, thoughtful and dependable. She is an excellent communicator and keeps me involved in everything, which I love! She works very hard to make sure that my child is not just happy and having fun, but continually challenges him to learn new skills. When my child sees her at the door, he is always so happy!
