I'd describe my personality as positive, supportive, and patient. I like tutoring because I love seeing when a child finally understands a concept or skill and wants to apply it on their own to new problems and situations. THAT'S LEARNING I'm looking for a job that is flexible with a family or individual that is willing to work with me when it comes to supporting their child(ren)'s learning progress and confidence. I started tutoring in 2013 for Sylvan, then moved on to private tutoring for a bit. I continue to tutor because I want to learn how young ones are understanding new concepts and skills. Things are always changing in education but future-proof strategies and best practices don't. One thing you should know about me is I love to laugh with people, especially young ones who may be having a hard time with their confidence about learning. I want them to remember that these challenges are temporary and that learning can be enjoyed.
