She has taught me patience, gratitude, kindness and strength. The children that I've cared (care) for have also taught me a few things such as being an artist (coloring inside the lines) a gymnast ( jungle gym, park) a chef (jazzing up chicken/ pasta) and being an architect (lego building). It may not always be easy but the smiles, hugs and laughter makes it worth while. It's rewarding in so many ways. I've been working as a nanny for over 20 years. Working part time has giving me the freedom to still make time for myself and enjoy life.
