About Melissa

Hello! My name is Melissa, and I bring over 10 years of experience working with children in home, school, and camp settings. I am dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for your children. Understanding the importance of trust in childcare, I am confident I can be the reliable caregiver you seek. I was the consistent babysitter for a Brooklyn family, caring for their daughter (age 1-2) until they moved out of state, providing dependable care at home and on family trips. I continue to offer as-needed babysitting alongside my career in the mental health field. My experience includes implementing an after-school program for middle schoolers through AmeriCorps City Year and serving as a camp counselor for pre-k to elementary-aged children for 4 summers. I am pursuing a Ph. D. in Psychology at Adelphi University and am available for consistent babysitting Thursday to Sunday each week. I look forward to meeting you and your family.
