About Melissa

As an experienced Academic Language Practitioner, I bring four years of expertise working with diverse student populations, ranging from 2nd to 12th grade. My journey includes two years in schools and two years of private tutoring, equipping me with the skills to support students with various learning differences. I specialize in using the Take Flight Curriculum, renowned for its success at the Children's Hospital. Recently, I concluded a rewarding experience tutoring at the Rocky Mountain Camp for kids with dyslexia. I am now accepting new students at my office in the Springs Literacy Center, located in the Old North End. My proficiency extends to administering phonemic awareness and literacy assessments, ensuring tailored support for each student's unique needs.
