About Melissa

With 17 years as a nanny and four years as a dyslexia and reading interventionist, I am passionate about fostering emotional well-being and language development in children. My experience spans working with newborns, multiples, and kids of all ages, including those with autism and various learning and developmental differences, allowing me to offer personalized and compassionate support at every stage of growth. I create nurturing, engaging environments tailored to each child's needs, focusing on emotional well-being and building strong, trusting relationships with families. My background in education has enhanced my understanding of diverse learning styles and the need for tailored strategies, enabling me to develop effective techniques that help children build confidence and reach their full potential. At this time, I'm available for part time, short term or as-needed care.
