About Melissa

I'd describe my personality as kind, compassionate, dedicated. I like caring for seniors because they are an outstanding population of people, that I have learned so much from. I hope To become a nurse practitioner one day for our senior citizens, they just don't get the care they get, and I want to change that. I started caring for seniors when I was 17 years old. I have been a nurse for 14 years and almost all of my experience is with our senior citizen population. I was a CNA at a skilled nursing facility before I was a nurse, with that my experience is extensive. In my spare time, I like to read, write, enjoy time with my family, and being outdoors especially in the mountains. My skills include I am organized and I am excellent at helping your loved one get medications on time and in a safe manner. I am able to help your loved one with activities of daily living, and provide the necessary support your loved one needs while they are in my care.
