Hi, I'm Melissa! I'm 27 years old and a graduate of Montclair State University. I live in Garwood, NJ. I have a BA in Nutrition and food Sciences of all ages (including child nutrition). Seeking fulltime. My experience includes: -5 years in a daycare with ages 3 months to 13 years -Private nanny for 3. 5 years -Date night sitting/event sitting -Experience working with special needs, autism, selective mutism, speech and developmental delay, ADD, motor skill delay, with some experience with children that have Down Syndrome -Experience in diapering/napping/feeding schedules -Teaching childhood nutrition -reinforcing good behavior and manners -Light house keeping, handling after school activities/ playdates, laundry when necessary, meal prep I take an empathetic approach to caring for children. I am gentle, kind and most importantly someone children can trust and rely on to listen to and guide them through developmental milestones. I value respect, open communication, and transparency.
