About Melissa

Hello, I've been a childcare provider (nanny, preschool teacher, center director, & camp director) for over 20 years. I've always had a passion for fostering children's growth and development. I am also a mom two young men: 25 & 19. I have a calm, imaginative, and friendly approach, which allows me to create a happy, safe environment for little ones. When it comes to household rules, I follow the parents' lead. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children between the ages of 0-12, and I enjoy playing outdoor games, board games, and educational games with them. I can communicate with parents about their children's day and any issues that arise through verbal communication, regular text updates, or phone calls, whichever they prefer. I have some college education and am certified in CPR and First Aid. I also have a car, am comfortable with dogs (allergic to cats), and only speak English. I would love to be a part of your family and help your children grow and learn!
