About Melissa

Hello parents, I'm Melissa I'm 26 years old originally from Colombian. I've been a childcare provider for over 5 years and I'm comfortable caring for up to 3 children of all ages, from infants to preteens. I'm a kind, responsible, organize, punctual, empathetic, independent and experienced childcare provider with a calm and patient attitude which allows me to build strong relationships with both children and families. My journey into caregiving began helping my grandmother in her kindergarten, where I discovered my natural ability to connect with children. Then I often assist one of her friends kindergarten, and took care of a beautiful baby for almost a year, and here in the US I had take care of kids from 5 years old to 14 years old. I have experience with a wide range of activities, including outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and technology-based games. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules and following the parents' preferred communication method.
