I'm a mother of 5 children, 2 biological and 3 adopted. I'm also grandmother to 5 children. My experience in personal care includes childcare for special needs children as well as the elderly. I have specifically worked with children with Autism (verbal and non-verbal), blindness, immobility, and J Tube feeding and care. I have a huge heart for people in general and love to invest myself in the lives of others. Aside from doing respite care for children with special needs, I have also cared for several children in my home, and even home-schooled a little guy (age 12) with Autism for 2 school seasons. Additionally, this little boy was from India, so I have experience with Indian culture, language, and dietary requirements. I love to cook and can make several healthy American and Indian dishes. I have also worked with the public as a phlebotomist and in Quality Assurance.
