About Melissa

Background: I started off as an In Home Health Aide. It was in this job that I first learned how to truly care for people that could not take care of themselves. I helped them dress, cooked for them, managed their medications, shopped, and took them on outings and to appointments. This is when I realized that helping others is the most fulfilling kind of work. I then went to college to become a Psychiatric Technician and worked in a hospital for over 10 years. This is where I developed string nursing skills and gained vast knowledge of signs and symptoms of disease, medications, caring for geriatric patients, and how to maintain overall health, both mentally and physically. The last several years I've focused on being a wife and mom, but my kids are older now and I'm in a place where I would love to utilize my skills to give back. I'm responsible, trust worthy, kind and have a deep respect for the elderly.
