I have over 20 years of caregiving experience with various disorders. I obtained my CNA 2006. I am current on my CPR, AED, and First Aid. I also have a certification In Alzheimer's/Dementia care through the Alzheimer's association. You can rest assured you will be taken care of exceptionally well, as I possess outstanding caregiving skills. Approaching the later years of life come with many challenges. I possess the traits and skills needed to achieve all task related to your daily life and enjoyed activities. I am very knowledgeable in Alzheimer/Dementia but I also have experience with congestive heart failure, quadriplegic, Down syndrome, hospice, end stage cancer, Parkinson's, stroke and aphasia. I am a caring and compassionate person. I am always thankful for the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of the people that I help! I am highly allergic to cats so I am unable to work in a home that has one.

I employed Melissa for a little over two years to care for my mother in her advanced stages of dementia. Melissa's care is the sole reason that my mother was in such great condition up until her passing. Melisa‘s meticulous knowledgeable care was evident by all who saw her including the hospice nurses who came daily. Melissa is a great team player. She listens to the family and gives her expertise experience knowledge to care for her patients. I would recommend Melissa any day and always. Excellent care provider.
