I have a severely disabled brother who has cerebral palsy and epilepsy who is tube fed and uses assistive technology to communicate giving me familiarity with assistive technology, physical and medical needs. I volunteered for sibshops assisting in recreational therapy for the siblings of children with special needs I babysat for four years for a family with two children, one of whom has an anxiety disorder. I spent time in Stockholm working as a nanny for a family with two children one with autism. My former partner has Asperger's, migraines and severe and extensive food allergies. I have advocated for school accessibility from an early age. All of the skills and diagnosises I have aquired through years of working closely with the disabled community and anticipate learning more and continuing to work with people with special needs.
