I have worked with individuals with special needs as a residential counselor and as a case manager since 1999 when I graduated from William & Mary with a bachelor's degree in psychology. I took some graduate classes for special education the year I taught in public school. I have also volunteered with individuals at my church since my child was born in 2013. I have been working part-time as a direct support professional for almost 2 years again and I am looking for additional hours closer to the tri-cities area. I enjoy helping people reach their fullest potential. I believe in giving individuals opportunities to do as much as they can for themselves and helping them to grow in their enjoyment of life.
