About Melissa

I'd describe my personality as kind, compassionate, and fun. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy helping people. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help others part-time and still spend time with my young children. I started caring for seniors when I began working with individuals with special needs including seniors with developmental disabilities. I graduated from William & Mary with a bachelor's degree in psychology. I took some graduate classes for special education the year I taught in public school. In my spare time, I like to cook, travel, spend time with my family. One thing you should know about me is I care about the details. My skills include cooking, companionship, and linking your loved ones with available resources.
