About Melissa

I have had dogs and cats since I was 4 years old, and have been pet sitting and boarding for the past 25 years. I even had 4 goats for a couple of years, and will have them again in the near future. I have also cared for birds, snakes & fish. I am comfortable around horses and farm animals, and will farm feed with minimal initial instruction. I love all animals, and have rescued and rehomed some feral cats, and have foster failed a few cats and dogs through the years. I currently have 6 indoor cats and 3 dogs, and feed a couple of feral cats at my home. I am currently taking online pet and human nutrition certification programs, and will be marketing home made pet food & treats in the near future. (I have previously owned 2 restaurants, and will be getting recertified in commercial food production). 2 of my cats and 2 dogs have special dietary needs , so I am very familiar with food and medicine administration requirements.
