About Melissa

Hello, I am looking to help another family keep up with their home. I have experience with general kitchen cleaning, bathrooms, carpet vacuuming, sweeping and mopping, dusting, indoor window cleaning and all general surface area cleaning. I love to organize and declutter a space, and would enjoy making a project out of an area if you need help. I would be interested in a part time position to tackle the tasks that take up a family's time. My availability is limited to 8:30 am-1:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays. Washing, folding and putting laundry away is an area I could be of great support in! Typically I prefer to use a client's supplies and equipment as to be mindful of the family's chemical usage, but I am flexible. I'd e love to be considered for a position, and I'm open to any questions or suggestions. Thank you!

Melissa was a real blessing in our lives. She worked with us 3 days a week for 4 hours per day for several months. She can certainly clean but her core skillset is thoughtfulness. She has high levels of what I call executive function - she can quickly figure out what’s needed and prioritize. We have a 1 year old and our home was a mess before her. She organized our entire life- figured out places for things to go, bought a label maker, labeled everything, and really improved the quality of life. She would text us things we were running short on (and by the end would buy it and leave us a receipt for reimbursement). Incredible. She is very punctual. She does have children so sometimes she cancels to take care of them, but that was the nature of our arrangement and she was a great communicator. She never left us hanging. We live in central Dallas and are happy o serve as a reference and provide more info. We needed more hours and Melissa helped us find her replacement!
