About Melissa

Hi! My name is Melissa. I used to volunteer to work with and take care of K9 dogs. I would brush/bathe them, clean their kennels, inspect their paws and inside their toes for any injuries of debris after walks, and always tried to find new ways to entertain them or stimulate their brains. I like working with animals because I've always had an attachment to animals since I was a kid. There's just something about them that heals a soul. In my spare time I like to go on hikes with my dogs and take them to new lakes so they can splash around. I get to put in a good workout and they get happy wagging tails so it's a win-win! One thing you should know about me is that I take care of animals like if they were my own. I am really big on communication and respect. My skills include being a multitasker, finding new enriching ways to stimulate their brain, and noticing when out of the ordinary behavior is presented.
