About Melissa

I have 3 children, ages 16-21. Currently a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (nursing home). I also have 8 yrs exp. as a Home Health Aide with special needs children of all ages and abilities, in schools and home settings. I've been around experts for years and learned so much from the professionals I have worked with such as teachers, therapy staff, TSS/behavioral staff workers, and families. I have greatly enjoyed both careers. I am a very patient, attentive and caring, person by nature. I am easy going, consistent, and reliable. I believe in the importance of creating opportunities for children to develop and grow and try to do so in fun creative ways. I have a reliable vehicle, CPR and first aid certified. Due to my past profession, I obtained Child abuse clearances, FBI, and criminal background checks every few years. My family and I have been fully vaccinated for Covid. I can assist as needed with drop off/pickups.
