About Melissa

I've worked 10 years in the medical field, currently I am a Certified Medical Assistant. I started in in-home care including dementia care and hospice. I also spent some time at skilled nursing facilities. I worked every floor of Skagit valley hospital including 3 years in the ER. I now am currently working at a local Family Practice. I enjoy helping others and meetings needs. I'd describe my personality as caring, compassionate, accountable I like caring for seniors because seniors are amazing and deserve the best. I find a lot of my Senior patients just need extra support, love, compassion, and companionship! I'm looking for a job that is weekends only. Getting to know the clients whole family and not feeling like a cog in your day. Being able to seamlessly fit into your family's visits and help out with whatever is needed. In my spare time, I like to read and cuddle my dog, Amber, and cats, Linus and Trixie.
