About Melissa

I adore kids and have more than 20 years experience working with children in multiple capacities. I have 6 of my own children who are all grown now (youngest just graduated high school), along with an adorable 4-year-old grandson. For the past 10 years I have worked one-on-one and with small groups of children from ages 2-18, providing assessments, social, emotional, behavioral, and academic supports service. I have also worked with children through volunteering in classrooms, with youth sports teams, and as a Girl Scout leader. I have an M. S. Ed (Masters of Science in Education) from Indiana University and am working on completing my dissertation for a Ph. D in School Psychology. I am comfortable with and have training and experience working with children with a variety of developmental and behavioral health needs, as well as neurotypical children from infants through teens.
