Hi! I have been working with children and young adults with Special Needs for over 10 years now, teaching for over 20. As former teaching fellow for students with special needs, certification in working with students with Autism, training in Orton Gillingham, and teaching at the Quad Preparatory School, I am uniquely qualified to work with students of all ages and abilities. I consider myself an advocate for not just my students, but their families as well. I am aware of how difficult it can be finding the right school and getting services. I thoroughly love my work and take pride in my students many accomplishments. My teaching style is student guided, and hands on whenever possible.

Melissa worked with our son with special needs for several years when he was in upper school. She was more than just an excellent math and humanities tutor. She is compassionate, level headed and helped our son feel confident with his abilities and gain independence. He still considers her a friend and a special person in his life.
