I have over 20 years of childcare experience ranging from newborns to Tweens. I am trained in the RIE method and use that approach with young ones. Currently, I am full time grad student working to obtain my Master of Social Work degree and have experience working as a child and adolescent therapist and am knowledgable in child development. I love children and enjoy contributing to and helping shape a child's life. I love to be active and enjoy field trips to the park, hikes, museums, and the library. I have my own vehicle and a clean driving record. Growing up in a large family has given me the opportunity to be comfortable with caring for several children at once and understand the need for individualized attention of a child. I am looking for a family who understands the demands of grad school and wants an excellent nanny!

I just completed my interview and reference review with Melissa. She was very prompt at returning all of my messages through Care.com. It was easy to set up an interview and she was on time for our meeting. I found her sincere, honest and very passionate about working with children. She has amazing people skills and has a rich background of humanitarian work with both adults and children. Throughout the interview it was very clear my child would be in good hands. I am very excited to have her start working with our family. I happily offered her the position.
