About Melissa

My name is Melissa and I am searching for a job in childcare. I have five years of childcare experience, and am both CPR and first aid certified, which were both recently updated this last February through my current job. I currently work at a daycare with the infants and babies, ages 3 months to just before 2 years. In addition to this, I tend to get floated to other rooms, covering shifts in toddlers, preschool, and prekindergarten. I started here as an assistant teacher for the preschool, but was slowly integrated through most of the rooms (ie: prekindergarten (4-5yrs), toddlers (2-3yrs), infants (8weeks-18months), and waddlers (18months-2yrs). This lead to me falling in love with the infant room, which I am now a lead teacher in. Although I love my kids, and will miss them, I feel like I am in need of a change of pace.
