Hello, my name is Melissa. I am certified through the department of developmental disability for giving services. Now , 3 years ago , I started working with a women who's 88, Tasks I perform for her are waking her up, making her breakfast, bathing, morning meds. also we would Walk the track. Prier to this , I worked for the department of developmental disabilities through an agency, for a 10-year-old boy , non. verbal with a TBI worked with that family for almost three years, then from there I began working at a senior center for 1year , then I became a caregiving independent provider and began to work with that same family, that I first worked with through the agency, began working with there son again, stayed for seven more years. I would get him off the bus, walk him inside, get him snacks, meals , appointment's , to the play ground, showers, night time care meds. Bedtime reading , neighborhood walks, restaurants, shopping trips. Taking great care of people makes me happy
