About Melissa

Hello, my name is Melissa. I have worked for the department of developmental disabilities in the past, however I started working with a 88-year-old women four years now who's moving to a facility. Tasks I perform for her are waking her up and getting her breakfast bathing , dressing , trips to the park, the store appointments tidy up. I would assist her in wound care some mornings, with ointment and new bandages. meal prep exercise we would do puzzles if weather was bad. first I started working for an agency for DODD. I worked with an 11-year-old boy on the autism spectrum and a 18-year-old girl that had cerebral palsy . I would assist in feeding, bathing, dressing trips in the community. I worked for an adult day care For a year in between it was great. Then I became an independent provider and started to work with my male client(the 11-year-old)until he was 19.
