About Melissa

Hi, I'm Melissa. I'm 30 years old. I'm the second oldest of seven children and I've been helping with child rearing since I was 7 years old. One of my brothers has autism so over the years I've learned what it takes to care for someone with special needs; patience, love, and compassion being the most important of those things. I'm the luckiest mom to the smartest and sassiest 5-year-old daughter and most mischievous 2-year-old son. I consider myself goofy, empathetic, smart, patient, artistic, and caring. I believe we should never stop growing and learning, even as adults (especially as adults). I truly think my purpose in life is to be a mom, however, I want to eventually become a lactation consultant as well. I have been out of the workforce being a stay at home mom for a few years now, and I'm ready to get back to helping provide for my family.
