About Melissa

My name is Melissa. One thing to know about me is I want to be a mother myself. If I can help support families & provide reliable child care, not only would it pay my bills, but it would more importantly prepare me for motherhood. I have had the privilege of caring for children of various ages, from toddlers-preteens. My patient & calm demeanor, coupled with my creativity & friendly nature, allows me to connect easily with children. I believe in open communication with updates about the child's day through text/calls, addressing any issues promptly. My approach to enforcing household rules as guided by the parents' preferences, ensuring consistency & respect for their parenting style. My most recent nannying position included picking up 2 daughters from school. I would drive them home, provide a snack & play with the youngest; as the eldest attended after school activities. I'd prepare dinner & do kitchen cleanup.
