Hi! I'm so glad you came across my profile! I'm Mel. My husband and I moved to Arkansas a little over a year ago and a few months ago we welcome our first baby! I discovered my passion for taking care of kids at a young age, and I've been doing it ever since. I grew up helping take care of children for family, friends, and my church community. My energetic personality makes it easy to connect with people of all ages and create a warm atmosphere. I believe that open communication with parents is essential. I provide regular updates on their child's day through written reports, text or phone calls, depending on their preferred method. This ensures that parents' needs are met and gives them peace of mind. I have my own vehicle, am a non-smoker, and am dog-friendly (though I'm allergic to cats). I am familiar and comfortable with CPR, though I am not certified. For one-time or date night care, I am more than willing to renegotiate prices.
