I am seeking a hospitable family to work for; using my previous experiences and knowledge as a former nanny, caterer, hotelier, personal assistant, household manager, and accountant, as a solid foundation. I enjoy learning about how others work and live. I am constantly challenging myself to live more mindfully, work more efficiently and challenge myself more often. My ideal family would have a similar mindset, where we could hold each other accountable as our working relationship progresses. My nannying style would align best with a family that practices gentle parenting but also feels comfortable setting boundaries for their children. I believe learning by doing and exploring is best, limited screen time and ample outdoor/imaginative play is best for growing minds. I love teaching children new things and also learning about their own hobbies and interests!

Melissa took care of our 3 children for over a year. She was very caring and connected well with our kids. Melissa was very responsible and communicated well with me with anything that was related to our children. The kids loved her and we would hire her again if she moved back to our area.
