About Melissa

I like caring for homes because it brings great joy and peace to the person residing there. I have worked in childcare previously and owned my own private vocal and instrumental music studio. I'm looking for a job that has flexible hours and allows me to showcase my skills to the best of my ability. I started housekeeping when I was 8 years old, and my mother asked me to help with smaller cleaning tasks, such as laundry, cleaning and organizing clutter, dusting and polishing wood, taking out trash and doing dishes. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my four children. Some activities I enjoy are cooking, helping my children and driving my car. My skills include organization, attention to detail, and (good) cooking. I have a BA in History from the University of Illinois. I spent 20+ years as an opera singer and won numerous accolades in college. I'm looking forward to working with you!
