I grew up with my sister having developmental delays and I was often responsible for her . My love for special children grew as I went on to be a tutor for 5 years. I then moved on and fostered four beautiful children all of which had developmental delays or disabilities. I loved every minute of it ! It is so rewarding to see every bit of progress or joy you can bring to their lives. On my own, I have studied college textbooks on special Ed , child development , and also on different disabilities (down syndrome , autism, sensory disorders ECT.). I am willing to learn more to better care for your child.
