About Melissa A

Hello! I am Melissa:) I am originally from the Quad Cities and after relocating to the south for work, my family moved back to care for my mother during her illness. My background is in business/social work and the non-profit sector. After losing my mom last year, I decided that I wanted to go back to child care. I have always loved children, ever since I was a little girl. They are such blessings and being a grandmother (my number 1 bucket list item) hasn't happened for me yet;) I have two adult children and being a mom was my favorite thing in my life I have worked with kids and adults with intellectual/developmental abilities for most of my career and there is nothing I would rather do:) I enjoy keeping things tidy and organized and also love to cook. I have appeared on television as a chef as well, on local, state and national channels.
